| The
SmoothE is the synergy of balsa and foam. With a balsa fuselage and
a foam wing, the best of both worlds are combined to give you an exceptional
sport plane. The SmoothE builds very fast and, other than taping the
wings, there is no covering.
The SmoothE comes in two flavors. The SF (SlowFlyer) has a 46" wingspan and is three channel (rudder, elevator, throttle) with optional ailerons. The SP has a 40" wingspan and less dihedral than the SF wing for better aerobatics. Both wings use the same fuselage so swapping from one wing to the other is easy. The SmoothE is designed around the GWS EPS350C-C, a 9x7 prop, and KAN650 batteries. It flies very well with this power plant. With a brushless motor and LiPoly cells, the performance goes through the roof. You will need at least one roll of packing tape or wing tape, strapping tape, and foam safe glue such as white glue, epoxy, or foam safe CA. |
